The festival takes over Library Park in the heart of Downtown Waterbury. Bring a lawn chair or a blanket — the music runs 4 pm – 10 pm, rain or shine.

Volunteer at the fest
Brass City Jazz Fest runs on its volunteers. Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. The concert begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 10:00 p.m. — please arrive 30 minutes before your shift, and check in starting at 3:30 p.m. to receive your badge and tickets.

Sell festival merchandise and keep track of sales.
Indoor Artist Meals
Area where artists dine between sets (televisions show the concert from inside).

Capture the stage concert.

Confirmation of volunteering areas is provided at least two weeks before the event. Volunteers are expected to commit to their assigned role and be on time, and may be asked to fill in at other positions as needed.
